Role Overview:
Our client is the UK's leading supplier of food-to-go packaging, recognised for their commitment to quality, sustainability, and exceptional customer service. With a strong and growing presence across the UK, they are now seeking a reliable and flexible Relief Driver to join their team at the Chessington depot. This is a key operational role, providing planned holiday cover and short-notice sickness cover across day and night shifts.

While the role does require flexibility, shifts are predominantly planned in advance in weekly blocks, offering structure and visibility wherever possible.

• Carry out multi-drop deliveries to customer locations across London and the South East
• Provide holiday and sickness cover for both day and night routes
• Ensure timely, safe and accurate delivery of goods
• Maintain high standards of customer service at all delivery points
• Complete daily vehicle checks and ensure compliance with road safety and company policies
• Communicate effectively with transport and depot teams regarding routes and schedules

  05:30 - 14:30 (London & South East routes)

Shifts are generally planned in advance in weekly blocks (either days or nights), although there may be occasional short-notice cover required for sickness absence.

• £26,830 basic salary per annum

• Valid UK driving licence
• Previous multi-drop or delivery driving experience preferred
• Flexible approach to working both day and night shifts
• Reliable, punctual, and professional at all times
• Good knowledge of London routes desirable
• Strong work ethic and customer-focused attitude
