HGV Class 1 Driver

Overview

Accelerate Personnel are actively seeking a Class 1 Driver, on behalf of our client in the North Norwich area. Our client is the world’s largest independent shredding company, providing secure shredding services to businesses and individuals across the UK.

As a HGV 1 Driver you will drive a range of Class 1 vehicles with either single or double deck trailers across East Anglia and beyond. These roles are primarily for collecting confidential material for destruction in large quantities.

• Provide a safe, reliable, and effective delivery and collection service driving Class 1 vehicles on behalf of the client and their customers.
• Represent the client professionally at all times with good self-presentation.
• Maintain accurate communication with the client’s transport team where required.
• Work in a professional manner and adhere to all relevant safety and compliance requirements.

Full weeks away, or local day work. We work closely with drivers to offer flexibility and accommodate hours and shifts to suit individual needs.

• Full UK driving licence with Category C+E entitlement
• Valid CPC Card
• Valid digital tachograph Card

• 8 hours minimum guaranteed pay per day
• £17.50 per hour
• Weekly pay
• Dedicated driving team available 24/7 on call
• Driver referral scheme
