With extensive capabilities across air, ocean, and logistics solutions, the company is expanding its UK Airfreight team and seeking a highly experienced leader to drive operational excellence at London Heathrow.

We are looking for an experienced Airfreight Export Team Lead to oversee and mentor a team of six export specialists. You will be responsible for day-to-day operational performance, compliance, service delivery, and continuous improvement initiatives within the export department. This role requires someone with deep industry expertise, strong people-management skills, and the confidence to lead in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of six Air Export Coordinators, ensuring performance excellence and high service standards.
• Oversee all air export operations, including quotations, bookings, documentation, and compliance with global and local regulations.
• Ensure full adherence to customs, aviation security, and IATA requirements.
• Foster strong relationships with airlines, suppliers, and key customers.
• Monitor KPI performance, drive process improvements, and contribute to strategic operational decisions.
• Manage escalations and provide technical expertise to support the team.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with import, road, warehouse, and global network teams.

• Minimum 10 years  experience in airfreight export operations (essential).
• Proven experience leading or supervising a team within a freight forwarding environment.
• Strong knowledge of IATA regulations

• Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
• Proficient in freight forwarding systems and Microsoft Office.
