Class 2 driver

Overview

£17.16 – £25.13 per hour. We are currently recruiting experienced Class 2 Drivers to join a well-established and reputable distribution company based in Erith, Kent. Class 2 Driver – Erith, Kent. Monday to Friday | 06:00 – 16:00. Pay Rate: £17.16 – £25.13 per hour.

As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for the delivery of white goods to retail stores across the region. This role is driving-focused with no heavy lifting or handball required, making it an ideal position for drivers looking for a more straightforward and manageable workload. Routes are planned in advance, and vehicles are well maintained, allowing you to focus on delivering safely, efficiently, and on time.

• Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle in accordance with road safety and company regulations
• Complete multi-drop deliveries to retail locations
• Ensure all deliveries are completed on schedule
• Accurately complete delivery notes and any associated paperwork
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and promptly report defects or issues
• Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner at customer sites

• Valid UK Class 2 (Category
  
  C) driving licence
• Driver CPC qualification
• Digital Tachograph card
• Minimum of 1 year Class 2 driving experience
• Good communication skills and a reliable, punctual work ethic
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence
• A strong commitment to safety and professionalism
