Trainee Field Technician

We are recruiting Trainee Field Technicians for local coverage. You will assist in leak detection activities and pinpoint water leaks on the network. Full training is provided; no experience is required.

This role works 40 hours per week on working days.

• EUSR Water Hygiene Training
• Unit 2 Street Works

• Deploy and retrieve loggers within a DMA (district metered area) for water companies.
• Deploy loggers on client furniture, often on fire hydrants and valves with 80‑100 loggers per day.
• Retrieve loggers 24 hours later, download results, and repeat the process.
• Manual job involving lifting, stretching, bending; experience driving long hours is beneficial.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Full UK manual driving licence (vehicle and fuel card provided for work purposes).

This role is subject to compulsory drug and alcohol testing and DBS checks.
