HGV Class 1 Driver nights route

Due to continuing business growth and development, potato processor, Fylde Fresh and Fabulous Ltd are seeking an enthusiastic and driven individual to join our team and support our continued success. A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an HGV class 1 driver to join our team providing a high-quality refrigerated product and service across the country. We are currently expanding due to our strong standing within the industry and excellent reputation for the quality of work we deliver to our clients

HGV Class 1 Permanent Nights Driver, the work will involve:

• Will involve
  nights away - overnight stays
• Working a fixed 3 week rota
• London
  drop off
• Work consisting of delivering to a handful of contract customers.
• Ensure all aspects of safety, personnel hygiene, and customer site rules are adhered to.
• All our vehicles are under 2 years old and on full dealer maintenance contracts.

Requirements:

• Digital Tachocard and CPC card
• 1 year UK HGV Class 1 experience.
• Previous Fridge experience would be desirable but not essential as training would be provided.
• Ability to communicate (verbally and in writing) clearly and confidently
• Ensure all transport legislation including driver’s hours and vehicle defect reporting is adhered to.
• Have an understanding of the law relating to driver's hour's regulations and Tachograph is essential.
• The ideal candidate must be flexible

We offer a competitive salary with rates changing after 10hr shift, nights rates and weekend rates.
