About The Role

Worldwide Flight Services are looking for individuals with an interest to build a career in cargo sector, to join the warehouse team  a member of the team, you will play a crucial role in Air Cargo warehouse operation, where you will be responsible for efficiently moving freight while adhering to strict security and safety regulations. You will be part of a dynamic and dedicated team that operates in fast-paced environment at the forefront of the cargo industry.

• Load and off-load freight from and onto vehicles with precision and efficiency.
• Place and retrieve freight in and from designated storage areas, ensuring proper organisation and accessibility.
• Build cargo onto aircraft units according to airline specifications, prioritising safety and adherence to guidelines.
• Complete documentation accurately to record details and movement of freight, mail, and equipment, maintaining meticulous records.
• Conduct necessary checks on imports and exports to ensure compliance with company and customer requirements, including security and regulatory protocols.
• Record and process cargo documents using handheld technology.
• Work as part of a team to tight deadlines.

To be successfully considered for this role you will need:

• Excellent command of the English language in both written and verbal communication to effectively communicate with team members, supervisors, and external stakeholders.
• Valid UK driving licence, demonstrating the ability to operate vehicles safely and responsibly.
• Forklift experience is preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Proficiency in manual handling of heavy goods, showcasing physical strength and capability to lift and move items as required.
• Previous experience of more than 8 years, within a warehouse is essential.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including 8 hours shift patterns (4 on and 2 off, 5 on and 3 off, 6 on and 3 off).
