Evening Trunk Driver

Full Time Driver required to join Global Service Group (GSG) for a contract based in Barhill Cambridge.

Hours Per Week: 40 hrs

Shift: Monday, Wednesday & Thursday 15:00 - 23:30 - Tuesday & Friday 12:00 - 20:30

Full time

Collection of caged work to be trunked in a Luton vehicle to Blackfriars in London 3 days per week. The other two days of the week is to drive transit sized vehicle to delivery consumable items to various locations within South East London GP Surgeries.

• Delivery of items in a secure and efficient manner
• Driving at all times in a safe and appropriate manner; always courteous to other road users
• Ensuring the safe carriage of all items taken under you
• Developing and maintaining a good professional relationship with staff
• Maintaining a degree of flexibility on collection runs to allow for additional requests and traffic delays
• Maintaining a smart appearance of both driver and vehicle; project a positive public image

To be successful in this role you will be motivated, punctual, dedicated, and someone who gets things done. You will need to work alone and be able to ensure the service we deliver is paramount to our success. Be proactive in your approach and be able to look for fixes to problems.

Vehicle to be picked up and dropped back to Depot after every shift.
