Automotive Service Driver Required for Car Garage!

Are you an experienced motor trade professional with a passion for driving high-value vehicles? Our client is seeking a reliable and confident Driver to join their team in Sutton. This role offers a great opportunity for someone looking for stable hours, a supportive environment, and the chance to work with a variety of vehicles, including prestige and electric models.

• Competitive hourly rate of £13.00 per hour, with potential for negotiation based on motor trade experience
• Guaranteed hours from 08:30 to 15:30, with optional overtime up to 17:30 on busy days
• Workplace pension, paid holidays, and PAYE employment
• Opportunity to work with a range of vehicle types, including electric and prestige cars

• Collecting and delivering customer vehicles across the body-shop and mechanical departments
• Using courtesy cars, hire loan vehicles, and public transport for vehicle collection
• Drop‑off and pick‑up at MOT sites, collecting parts, and maintaining onsite parking organisation
• Moving vehicles to and from off‑site storage facilities
• Assisting with incoming parts, labelling, and organisation
• Site tidying and assisting with light maintenance tasks such as painting or general cleaning
• Supporting with office duties like answering phones and taking messages
• Driving various vehicles, including electric models, prestige cars, and light commercial vehicles

• UK driving licence held for at least 7 years, ideally with a clean record but willing to consider 3 current points
• Motor trade experience preferred, particularly with high-value or electric vehicles
• Confident in driving all types of vehicles, including EVs and prestige models
• Physically fit and comfortable walking up to half a mile for vehicle collection
• Experience in the motor trade is ESSENTIAL for this vacancy.
