Our client is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented and experienced (2+ years) Airfreight Export Operator to join their highly skilled team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing export airfreight consignments from start to finish, handling order management, customer enquiries, export documentation, customs entries, raising AWB’s, and working closely with their offices to service UK customers.

• A key part of the role is arranging export collections for UK based customers, checking collections, raising export entries, generating AWB’s and performing other administration tasks within an Air Export environment.
• Timely and effective communication with customers, partners and internal departments via telephone and email.
• Verifying and updating systems with customer booking details.
• Work collaboratively with operations and overseas offices to ensure the successful delivery of all customer commitments.
• Effective monitoring to ensure collections are completed within agreed timelines.
• Ensure that all collection consignments are conforming to correct information.
• Pro-active problem solving with customers and colleagues when issues arise.
• Ensure consignments are rated correctly to enable accurate and timely invoicing.
• Provide KPI and reports both internally and externally where required.
• Resolve credit management queries where necessary.
• General day-to-day administrative duties.
