Logistics Transport Planner

Our client is a leading manufacturer and materials stockholder with several sites in the UK. Successfully operating for over 30 years, with a sizeable, skilled and dedicated workforce they have an enviable reputation within the industry. Alongside manufacturing components with state of the art machinery they also stock a high volume of product, selling and delivering to a vast array of clients nationwide with their fleet of 28 vehicles.

Due to continued growth a Logistics Co-ordinator is required to manage the manifest of all product of various types and sizes to create the most efficient results for delivery

Key Responsibilities Plan, schedule, the loading of orders for maximum efficiency Coordinate with drivers, warehouse teams, and clients to ensure smooth operations Monitor deliveries and resolve any issues quickly and effectively Maintain compliance with transport regulations and company policies Analyse performance data to identify improvements and cost savings
