Rail Replacement Coordinator

About the role

We are looking to hire a Rail Replacement Coordinator across the UK network during times of disruption and pre‑planned work, with additional support for our special events team. The role is part‑time, flexible, and may require travel (travel costs covered). Work will run 7 days a week from early morning to late night, with short‑notice flexibility required.

This role will involve managing disruptions, ensuring buses and trains run on time, making announcements, carrying out safety duties and providing customer service. You will be trained to handle a variety of situations to keep customers informed and services running smoothly.

Strict zero‑tolerance Orten drink and drugs policy.

We look for candidates who can build rapport with a diverse range of people and who have the following attributes:

• A systematic approach to work
• Availability to work flexibly and on short notice

Knowledge of bus and train timetables and drivers’ hours regulations is an advantage.
