Join a busy freight forwarding team in Basildon as a Sea Freight Import Clerk. You’ll handle import shipments, customs paperwork and delivery operations, gaining broad exposure across the business in a professional and collaborative environment.

• Manage import shipments and documentation
• Coordinate deliveries and track vessel arrivals
• Prepare import customs paperwork
• Support internal teams and customer service
• Assist with administrative tasks and liaise with clients and internal teams as required.

• 2+ years import freight forwarding experience
• Strong IT skills (Excel & Word)
• Organised, detail-focused and reliable
• Good communication and team working skills

• Full-time, permanent position within a stable and growing business
• Broad exposure to import operations, customs and haulage
• Supportive team environment with hands‑on learning opportunities
• 2225 days holiday plus UK bank holidays
• Structured working hours with a rotating shift pattern (08 : 0016 : 30 / 09 : 0017 : 30)
