** Reporting into the Plant & Transport Manager, the successful
** Logistics Coordinator
** will be responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing the efficient transportation and storage of goods, materials, and equipment.
** What you'll be doing

** Logistics Coordinator
** will be carrying out the following duties and responsibilities (not exhaustive)
* Planning & Scheduling - coordinating and scheduling deliveries and collections to meet operational requirements along with optimising routes and transport plans to reduce costs and improve efficiency
* Inventory & Stock Control - monitoring stock levels and ensuring accurate documentation of goods in transit
* Compliance & Documentation - ensuring all transport activities comply with legal, safety and company standards along with preparing and maintaining accurate records including delivery notes, manifests and regulatory documentation
* Supplier & Stakeholder Management - communicating with suppliers, drivers, and internal teams to resolve issues promptly. You will also negotiate with transport providers for competitive rates and reliable service
* Performance Monitoring - tracking KPIs and reporting on logistics performance and identify areas for improvement
** What we are looking for
** We are looking for a
** Logistics Coordinator
** who is in possession of the following skills/attributes:
* Familiarity with telematics systems and fleet management tools e.g. Geo Tab or Syrinx 360
* Good understanding of customer service expectations and excellent telephone manner
* Computer literate with Excel
* Good administrative and organisational skills
