Right Now Group are recruiting for an Air Export Gateway Operator to join our client, a leading global logistics company based in the Heathrow area. This position offers the opportunity to be part of a professional and fast-paced environment, supporting international freight movements and ensuring a high level of customer service and operational accuracy within the export gateway department.

• Manage daily communication with partners, customers, and internal departments via email and telephone.
• Coordinate with local and overseas operations teams to ensure all shipments are processed on time and to the highest standard.
• Oversee export gateway processes including consolidations, airline allocations, and flight planning.
• Ensure all export documentation complies with commodity, airline, and country-specific requirements.
• Maintain accuracy and quality of all shipment data within company systems.
• Take responsibility for accurate costing, invoicing, and billing of shipments.
• Support the wider operations team in meeting daily KPIs and performance deadlines.
• Resolve operational issues efficiently and professionally, maintaining high service standards at all times.

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Air Export operations within a freight forwarding or gateway environment.
• Strong understanding of export procedures, airline requirements, and customs documentation.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and numeracy.
• Confident IT user with the ability to learn new systems quickly - knowledge of Cargo Wise (CW1) is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional and courteous manner.
• Reliable, proactive, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

• Salary: £32,000 - £34,000 + £2,500 shift allowance
• Shift: 4 on 4 off (Days)
• Hours: 07:00 - 19:00
