7.5T Delivery Driver

Overview

Flexible People Ltd are recruiting 7.5t home delivery drivers for a well known client based in Croydon. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a multi‑national organization with potential for growth and opportunities.

This role involves working with a Drivers Mate to deliver large goods to residential properties, including TV’s, flat pack furniture, gym equipment, white goods, etc. Due to the weight of the products you must be physically fit. The company offers the customer a ‘room of choice’ delivery and you will be fully trained on how to do this. All new drivers are subject to a driving assessment and multiple choice highway code/tacho exam, followed the next day with a subsequent induction day.

The client operates seven days a week with a weekly rota of 5‑6 shifts a week. Weekend work is involved and will be expected of you. Shift timings start  and last roughly 8‑11 hours. Pay rate is £18.90 per hour with an overtime rate of £22.19 per hour after 48 hours in the working week. After 12 weeks you can be offered a contract directly with the company and, once you become a full‑time member of staff, you will be entitled to an award‑winning range of benefits.
