• Leading a skilled operations team across air, road, and multimodal shipments.
• Overseeing urgent AOG and high-value movements end-to-end.
• Acting as the key escalation point—ensuring 24/7 operational readiness.
• Managing workflow, planning, compliance and operational controls.
• Working closely with commercial teams on routing and solutions.
• Negotiating with carriers, handlers and hauliers to optimise cost and service.
• Tracking KPIs and supporting senior leadership with reporting and planning.

• 5+ years in air freight, aviation logistics, AOG or time-critical operations.
• Experience leading an operations team.
• Deep understanding of air freight, road freight, customs and airline processes.
• Ability to stay calm and decisive under pressure.
• Customer-first mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Experience with freight management systems (e.g., Box Top or similar).
