Platform Sports Coaching is a UK-based organization dedicated to inspiring young people through sports while fostering their physical, social, and emotional development. Through partnerships with schools and community programs, Platform Sports Coaching provides high-quality physical education, enrichment clubs, grassroots football coaching, and holiday activity programs for individuals aged 4–18. Our team of skilled and passionate coaches emphasizes the importance of building confidence, teamwork, and resilience in young athletes.

Monday 5pm to 6pm at Three Rivers Academy

Monday 6pm to 7pm at Power League Sunbury

Tuesday 6.30pm to 7.30pm at Oaken Lane Sports Centre

Saturday 9am to 10am at Esher College

Role Description

The Girls Wildcats Football Coach will be responsible for planning and leading engaging and skill-focused football sessions for young players. Core responsibilities include developing tailored training programs, fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere, supporting players’ technical and tactical development, and promoting sportsmanship and teamwork. The coach will collaborate with other team members to ensure player welfare, growth, and enjoyment both on and off the field.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in football coaching, with the ability to foster skill enhancement and strategy development
  • Strong communication skills to effectively engage with young players, parents, and fellow coaches
  • Experience in youth football and coaching with a focus on building confidence and teamwork
  • Demonstrated ability to lead structured training sessions tailored to participants’ age and skill levels
  • Relevant coaching qualifications or certifications, such as FA Level 1 or 2, are highly preferred
  • Passion for youth engagement and sports development with a commitment to inclusivity and player welfare
  • Basic first aid knowledge or certification is a plus
