Overview

Contract Type: 20-month contract, with option to extend upon review

Salary - 35-40k dependent on experience

Reports to: Director of Rugby

The role includes: To strengthen links between the professional club and its grassroots community network. The successful candidate will work closely with London Broncos, the London Rugby League Foundation, the London Junior League Board, and local community clubs to grow rugby league participation and ensure high-quality experiences for players, coaches, and volunteers.

Club Engagement & Development
  • Lead on the engagement between London Broncos and both junior league & community clubs.
  • Visit local community and junior league clubs with first team players to support coaching and provide a London Broncos presence.
  • To coordinate first team player appearances at events such as finals days and festivals.
  • Identify development needs within clubs regarding player participation and coaching support.
  • Build strong relationships with club coaches, volunteers, and club officials.
Matchday Engagement
  • In conjunction with the match day staff and Foundation, plan and deliver community engagement activities at London Broncos home matchdays.
Matchday First Team Kit Support
  • Assist in first team preparation of changing area on home and away games.
  • Deliver rugby league coaching sessions in local schools to support participation targets.
  • Experience delivering high-quality sports or rugby league coaching sessions.
  • Strong understanding of community rugby league and club structures.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Confident working with a wide range of partners including schools, community clubs, and governing bodies.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to own transport.
  • Level 2 Rugby League Coaching qualification or higher (or willingness to achieve).
