As a Global Relay Python Software Developer engineer you will be part of a small team of developers designing, developing, and maintaining scripts for publishing demo data into Global Relay’s production and demo environments. These scripts are used by our sales teams to demonstrate the capabilities of Global Relay’s services to potential clients. Your contribution will have an immediate impact by enabling efficient delivery of world‑leading software to our customers.

The role involves cross‑team collaboration; you will work closely with members of your own team as well as other development teams and key stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of software.

• Work as part of an agile development team to write Python/Power Shell and automate the injection of demo data into production systems for the Sales team to use in demonstrations.
• Write efficient, reusable, and scalable code.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams for project success.
• Script and automate tasks using Power Shell/Python.
• Handle scripting conversions across multiple platforms.
• Provide full scripting automation services.
• Develop tools and utilities to enhance system administration.
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing Power Shell scripts.

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Python development.
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience with Power Shell scripting.
• Knowledge of Windows Server operations, service accounts, and task scheduling.
• Experience writing Python to access and use REST APIs.
• Experience using and understanding JSON data structures.
• Experience writing and debugging Python and Power Shell code.
• API call experience across multiple platforms (Windows/Linux).
• Experience with code version/release management.
• Experience with EML standard email message format.
• Proficiency in using version control systems like Git.
• Experience troubleshooting and performance tuning of automation workflows.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, Git Lab CI, Circle
  
  CI, and Travis CI.
