Dolfin is building the agentic financial ops layer for the next generation of SMB platforms. As a Founding Engineer, you will build our core API-first platform from scratch, designing multi-tenant systems that embed AI agents into neobanks and SaaS providers. This is a high-ownership role working directly with founders to set the technical foundation.

• Work on cutting-edge AI-native infrastructure where LLMs are treated as core system architecture rather than just surface-level features.
• Strong early momentum with signed contracts, a multi-million pound pipeline, and backing from senior advisors at Stripe, FIS, and Payhawk.

• Design and build Dolfin’s core platform end-to-end, focusing on API-first, multi-tenant systems for seamless partner integration.
• Implement and scale production-ready agentic workflows using LLMs to automate complex financial processes like payables and expense management.
• Partner directly with founders on critical architectural trade-offs, ensuring security and permissions are built into the foundation of the stack.

• A language-agnostic full-stack or backend-leaning engineer with a proven track record of shipping zero-to-one products into production.
• Hands‑on experience with AI workflows and a product‑minded approach that prioritises systems thinking and customer impact over specific frameworks.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-autonomy environment where you are expected to create structure rather than follow existing processes.
