As a Founding Engineer at Materi, you will lead the evolution of our prototype into a production-ready platform. You'll take ownership of our Type Script, React, and Node.js stack, building custom agent infrastructure. This high-agency role involves translating business vision into technical architecture, managing the product build-out, and shaping the future of the engineering team.

• Lead the technical build-out of the Materi platform, converting a Type Script and Node.js prototype into a production-grade system.

• Architect and manage custom backend and agent infrastructure to support complex AI-driven workflows.

• Translate high-level product and business requirements into optimal, scalable technical decisions and implementation plans.

• Deep expertise in full-stack development using Type Script, React, and Node.js, with a proven track record of shipping production software.

• Demonstrated experience building or managing complex backend systems and infrastructure, ideally within the AI or agentic space.

• High-agency individual with strong judgment who thrives in a 4-day-a-week in-office environment and is ready for founding-level responsibility.
