Join a mission-driven team as the primary developer taking ownership of a digital platform that scales biochar adoption. You will evolve internal systems into scalable products, managing everything from real-time logistics tracking to farmer-facing web applications. This role combines technical leadership with hands‑on development to drive tangible environmental impact through sophisticated carbon credit reporting.

• Take full technical ownership of a green‑tech platform, moving from internal tools to a scalable product ecosystem serving partners nationwide.
• Work at the cutting edge of sustainability by building software that directly facilitates carbon removal and improves soil health for UK farmers.
• Enjoy high autonomy in a fast‑paced startup environment where you shape the technical foundation and influence long‑term product strategy.

• Lead the end‑to‑end development of React and Node.js web applications, ensuring high performance and security across the digital platform.
• Collaborate with the Innovation Manager to design data models and prototype new features that optimize carbon credit reporting and logistics.
• Implement robust CI/CD pipelines and testing processes to maintain high code quality while utilizing AI‑assisted development tools like Cursor.

• Has 3+ years of professional experience in full‑stack development, with deep proficiency in React, Node.js, and Mongo

• Demonstrates a strong product sense with the ability to design UIs in Figma and translate them into maintainable, accessible code.
• Possesses excellent communication skills to discuss technical trade‑offs with non‑technical stakeholders and manage rapid development cycles effectively.
