Job Description: As the Founding Engineer at Elyndra, you will lead the technical development of an AI-first platform designed to fix the UK’s broken £96bn social care sector. Working directly with YC-exited founders, you will architect and build software that automates administrative burdens, ensuring vulnerable children find stable placements faster and more reliably.

What you will do:

• Lead the end-to-end technical roadmap, making critical architecture decisions that balance rapid iteration with long-term system stability.
• Design and implement intuitive UIs and robust backend services that translate complex data into actionable insights for non-technical care workers.
• Integrate LLM services and AI features into the core product while maintaining high standards for security and sensitive data handling.

The ideal candidate:

• Full-stack expert proficient in Python and React, with a proven track record of building and scaling secure cloud-based applications.
• High-agency, product-first engineer who has previously thrived in early-stage startups or built sophisticated side products from scratch.
• Experienced in integrating LLMs and implementing security best practices (GDPR) for handling highly sensitive personal data within the healthcare or social care space.
