Senior Automation Test Engineer

Job Title Lead Tester Hiring Manager Location Hybrid – Regular travel to Central London

Role Description As the Lead Tester, you will provide leadership, team support and hands‑on expertise for the design, execution, and maintenance of automated tests using the Triangle Test Automation product. You will work closely with testers, developers and stakeholders within assigned scrum teams covering the trade life cycle.

• Implementing and customising the Triangle Test Automation product
• Hands‑on automated test design, execution and reporting
• Leadership and support to test resources
• Best practice and standards guidance
• E2E test and release process integration

Reporting to Test Manager

• Desire to remain technically hands‑on
• Experience of team leadership and standards governance
• Proficiency in Spec Flow (Reqnroll), API testing, SQL, GIT and Azure Pipelines
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Proactive approach to problem solving
• Experience in Energy Trading or Capital Markets is a strong plus
• BSc in Computer Science or related field

• Experience in Python, Data Testing or .NET
• Experience in testing Event or Message buses e.g. Kafka or Azure Service Bus
• Configuration of test data, batches and pipelines (e.g. YAML, JSON or XML file configuration)
• Bash and Powershell scripting
• Experience in performance, stress and security testing
