Front-End Engineer

As a Front-End Engineer at Xiatech, you will play a key role in designing and building our front-end web applications. You will collaborate closely with Xfuze product managers and backend engineers to create seamless user experiences for our Xfuze platform. Your primary focus will be on front-end development using React, Type Script, and modern styling framework. You’ll help define best practices for front-end architecture and component libraries.

The role offers an opportunity to work with modern web frameworks, APIs, and cloud-based infrastructures.

• Design, develop, and maintain front-end web applications using React and Type Script .
• Work closely with our UI/UX team to bring wireframes and prototypes to life.
• Build and maintain reusable components and contribute to the design system
  .
• Work as part of a cross-functional squad
  , delivering new features using agile methodologies with minimal guidance.
• Work with MongoDB and other data stores.
• Write and maintain unit and end-to-end tests using Jest and Playwright to ensure quality.
• Review PRs and provide feedback to maintain high-quality code and engineering best practices.
• Participate in technical discussions and contribute to platform improvements.
• Stay up to date with the latest web technologies and advocate for best practices.

• Strong experience building modern web applications with React and Type Script
• Solid understanding of component-driven architecture and front-end state management
• Experience working with modern styling approaches (e.g. Tailwind, CSS-in-JS, component libraries)
• A testing mindset, with hands-on experience using tools such as Jest or Playwright
• Awareness of performance optimisation and accessibility principles
• Comfort working in an agile, collaborative environment

• Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, GCP)
• Experience integrating with APIs in production systems
