You will lead the backend evolution of a high-growth social platform, transitioning from non-relational to relational architectures to support millions of users.

This role involves building robust payment systems, optimizing global media delivery pipelines, and establishing the technical foundation for real-time collaboration features within a talent-dense, high-velocity engineering culture.

• Work on a high-scale consumer product backed by top-tier VCs and prominent industry leaders.
• Solve complex distributed systems challenges, including a zero-downtime database migration and low-latency media streaming.
• Join a small, elite team where you have high ownership over the technical roadmap and deployment standards.

• Execute a full migration from No
  
  SQL to a canonical relational schema with dual-writes and data reconciliation.
• Own the end-to-end payments and entitlements infrastructure using Stripe and Revenue Cat for cross-platform parity.
• Build and scale media processing pipelines and CDN strategies to ensure reliable, high-speed content delivery globally.

• Deep expertise in relational database design, SQL optimization, and executing complex data migration strategies.
• Proven track record of designing resilient APIs for high-concurrency environments across web and mobile clients.
• Strong production mindset with experience in CI/CD, structured observability, and managing media-heavy cloud infrastructure.
