Senior Software Engineer - Python & C# / AWS - Permanent (Hybrid role, Central London)

Lloyd's syndicate in the insurance space.

We are looking for a Sr Developer to design and develop modern cloud native software solutions using C# as a core, with a strong focus on AWS services and Python development.

• As part of a small, agile team, you will take ownership across the full software lifecycle — from requirements gathering and solution architecture to development, deployment, and operational support.
• You will play a key role in building and maintaining AWS based applications, automated CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code deployments.
• Design and develop modern cloud native software solutions using C# as a core, with a strong focus on AWS services and Python development.

• Strong experience developing software in Python (Essential), C# (Preferred also) and using Visual Studio/Dev Ops/Git.
• Integrate internal and external systems, leveraging AWS tools (e.g., Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway) and develop services to bridge differing platforms.
• Develop web front-end and back-end applications using .NET and Python.
