Python Developer/ Backend Developer/ Senior Software Engineer - AI Startup (London, Hybrid)

Location: London (Hybrid – 1-2 day per week in office)

We are partnered with a fast-growing AI startup building a cutting‑edge product that redefines what’s possible in engineering. To accelerate their growth, we’re looking for a talented Python Developer / Software Engineer to join our London team and help build scalable, production‑grade AI systems and tools.

As a Python Developer, you’ll be a key part of our core engineering team, developing backend systems, APIs, and data pipelines that power our AI products. You’ll collaborate closely with machine learning engineers and Dev Ops to turn research ideas into robust, production‑ready applications. This is a high‑impact opportunity to shape the engineering foundations of a pioneering AI company.

• Design, build, and maintain high‑performance backend systems in Python
• Develop and optimize APIs, data processing pipelines, and integration layers
• Collaborate with ML engineers to deploy and scale AI models into production

• 3–6 years of experience as a Python Developer / Software Engineer
• Strong Python skills with experience in frameworks such as FastAPI
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles and design patterns
• Strong foundation in Computer Science (BSc/MSc from a top university)
• Desirable: experience with AWS, frontend skills
• Startup experience is a plus
