We are seeking a Full Stack Developer to support the design, build and scaling of a modern healthcare analytics platform. This role will play a key part in developing new product features across frontend, backend and cloud infrastructure, contributing to architectural decisions and ensuring high quality, secure and scalable delivery.
You will be working within a product focused environment, collaborating closely with technical and non technical stakeholders to shape features that directly impact healthcare providers. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building robust solutions, working with complex datasets and delivering intuitive user experiences within a healthcare setting. Proven healthcare sector experience is essential.
Main Duties
• Design, build and maintain full stack features end to end
• Develop clean, reusable and maintainable code across frontend and backend
• Contribute to architecture and technical design decisions
• Build and consume REST APIs
• Develop and optimise SQL queries for analytics and reporting
• Work with large healthcare datasets, ensuring performance and reliability
• Deploy and maintain services within Microsoft Azure
• Improve application performance, scalability and security
• Participate in code reviews and agile ceremonies
• Collaborate with product, UX and wider stakeholders to shape new features
Skills and Experience Required
• Minimum 5 years commercial software development experience
• Strong experience with React and modern JavaScript or Type Script
• Experience building and integrating REST APIs
• Strong SQL Server or Azure SQL experience
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure including App Services, Functions and Storage
• Experience designing secure and scalable web applications
• Experience building dashboards or data visualisation solutions
• Proven experience working within the healthcare sector, ideally NHS or healthcare analytics environments, this is essential
• Experience working with large, complex healthcare datasets
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and take ownership
Desirable
• Experience with multi tenant SaaS applications
• Dev Ops or CI CD experience
• Experience working within healthcare data, analytics or digital transformation programmes
