We’re on a mission to re‑invent the car ownership and usage experience at AA‑X, a connected‑car venture that uses data and AI to provide drivers with broader insight and control. As a Solution Architect, you’ll help build consumer‑centric products and services that bring our members first access to everything we build.

London (hybrid working – 3 office days per week). Permanent, full time.

• Architect and evolve our Connected Car platform, integrating OBD‑II devices and real‑time diagnostics.
• Design scalable, secure, and resilient consumer‑facing applications across mobile and web.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate customer needs into robust technical solutions.
• Champion data privacy and security, ensuring compliance with GDPR and automotive standards.
• Lead technical discovery for features such as AI‑powered diagnostics, predictive maintenance, and third‑party integrations.
• Provide architectural guidance across the development lifecycle, mentoring teams on cloud‑native and mobile‑first strategies.

• Strong demonstrable experience in architecture, with a track record in consumer digital platforms.
• Fluency in modern mobile/web frameworks such as React and Flutter.
• Experience with connected‑car or IoT platforms, hardware integration, telemetry, and real‑time analytics is ideal.
• Deep understanding of AWS cloud architecture, microservices, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong grasp of security best practices, compliance standards, and scalable design principles.
