After co‑founding and scaling Forto to over $600M in funding, I took a step back to reflect on what’s still broken in global logistics. The answer was clear: it’s still a human‑first, spreadsheet‑heavy industry, full of repetitive processes and broken system interoperability. With the rise of AI agents, we now have the tools to rethink that from the ground up. Zauber builds autonomous agents for the global logistics industry, AI workers that handle operational tasks, talk to systems and humans alike, and get better every day.

We’re already live with global logistics leaders in Europe and Asia. Backed by one of Europe’s top early‑stage funds, we’re growing fast and hiring exceptional engineers to join early.

You will help turn vision into product and bring our first AI agents into the hands of real users. This is a high‑ownership role, working closely with the founding team and customers to build something truly new.

• Talk directly to customers and translate their needs into product and architecture
• Build full‑stack features that combine intuitive interfaces with intelligent backend logic
• Push the limits of what LLMs and agents can do in real‑world applications
• Scale from demo‑quality code to robust, production‑ready systems
• Help shape the technical vision and product strategy of the company

• Have experience taking full ownership of technical projects
• Are pragmatic and fast in the early days, but know when to raise the bar for scale and quality
• Love writing and shipping code, and are not afraid to throw it away when needed
• Enjoy speaking with users and iterating quickly based on feedback
• Want to build something ambitious and impactful, from the very beginning

• Strong engineering skills, especially with Node.js, Type Script and React
• Hands‑on experience working with modern AI tooling, including LLMs, vector stores, and prompt engineering
• A track record of building and shipping products that create real value
• Curiosity for how industries actually work and a drive to improve them through software
• A high‑agency mindset and the ability to operate independently in a fast‑changing environment

• In‑person Monday to Wednesday in our Berlin office (travel within Europe expected)
