• Define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using IBM platforms.
• Serve as a technical leader and liaison among business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders.
• Deliver Software Conversion projects using automated refactoring with CTU.
• Maintain the Java support library, integrate new libraries, customize solutions, and build automation around processes.
• Design Java solutions for modernizing legacy applications.
• Problem solve and help others.
• Write well-designed, testable code.
• Deliver solutions within the fast-paced project lifecycle.
• Spend most of the time on technical/coding activities, occasionally coaching the team.
• Development is done mostly on Windows machines, with CTU built on Eclipse.

• 7+ years' experience in Java Development
• Experience with Java libraries (Spring Framework, Guava, Apache Commons, Guice / Dependency Injection, JPA)
• Good SQL / ORM / Relational Databases knowledge
• MVS / COBOL / JCL
• Practical skills in CI/CD tools (Git, Maven, Gradle, Docker, Jenkins, Jira)
• Good command of Test-Driven Development

• Compilation technologies / ANTLR / XText

• Bachelor's Degree
