Embedded Software Engineer

We’re looking for an Embedded Software Engineer who is interested in developing a next generation sensor for the marine industry. This would appeal to Engineers who want variety and enjoy working closely with the bare metal electronics components.

Able to code proficiently in C & C++

Experience with microcontroller hardware (e.g. STM
32, PIC, TM4C) and frameworks, working with the memory, performance and power constraints of these systems.

Embedded Systems

Experience of developing and debugging, including cross-compiling for different hardware architectures, virtualisation and docker concepts.

Able to work in a structured software development environment that includes:

• Following coding guidelines.
• Developing unit and system tests.

Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering, Physics, Maths, Software Engineering, Computer Science

5-10 years of proven software engineering industry experience

Security clearance is required - Sole UK national status (must hold a single passport which is British).
