• Collaborate with product management to plan a realistic roadmap
• Lead, mentor, and develop your engineering team; create a collaborative, high‑performing culture
• Support the professional growth of your team members with regular developmental conversations
• Own the architecture across the team and drive architectural alignment
• Manage the delicate balance between delivering business value and continuously improving the architecture and reducing tech debt
• In collaboration with product managers, own agile ceremonies and play a key role in product governance processes
• Ensure the team adheres to best practices in software development, including continuous improvement of engineering processes and tools to improve code quality and shift‑left on testing, security, monitoring and deployment
• Provide guidance on complex technical issues and assist with problem‑solving
• Continuously evaluate and improve engineering processes and tools

• Experience leading and line‑managing a team of 5‑10 software developers
• At least 5 years as a hands‑on software engineer; ideally with Java and/or Python
• Experience with Salesforce is not essential but would certainly be helpful
• Experience with cloud technologies (ideally AWS)
• A qualification in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equal industry experience
