We are growing our engineering teams at Trustpilot and are looking to welcome a mid‑level Fullstack Software Engineer within our Consumer Voice team. You will join a cross‑functional team with full ownership of our products and codebase, where you will take part in every step of the development process, from ideation to maintenance. A place where you can grow as an individual, while also having an influence (or even leading) on the direction of projects and technological choices.

As a Mid‑Level Software Engineer, you will contribute to the technical direction of our products. You’ll use your knowledge to develop features from concept to deployment and maintenance. Your role includes supporting architectural decisions, ensuring high code quality, and learning from senior engineers, all while fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.

The Consumer Voice Team is a pivotal group within our consumer domain, dedicated to empowering millions of users to share their genuine experiences and feedback on the services they encounter.

Core Mission
  • Modernise and enhance our existing website with impactful new features.
  • Pioneer innovative methods for consumers to rate their experiences, adapting to the ever‑evolving landscape of digital interaction.
  • Ensure seamless integration of new features, working across existing teams to guarantee they meet diverse customer needs and deliver exceptional value.
What You’ll Be Doing
  • Take part in decision‑making and design discussions during development.
  • Help plan, implement and release new features.
  • Troubleshoot existing software, squashing those nasty little bugs.
  • Inspire and challenge the organisation with your knowledge of how to solve problems.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
  • Support the technical direction of the team through the adoption of best practices and tooling.
Who You Are
  • Experience building full‑stack applications while working alongside diverse teams.
  • Experience developing RESTful APIs and distributed cloud services.
  • Proficiency with React and Node.js.
  • AWS experience is a must.
  • A customer‑centric and solution‑oriented mindset with a bias to action.
  • A personable and helpful personality, willing to give and receive feedback in a constructive way.
  • Motivated to push yourself and the people around you to constantly improve, in a healthy way.
