Salary: £95,000 – £115,000 + Equity

You will help build a cloud-based SaaS platform that empowers engineers to utilize state‑of‑the‑art image‑based AI. By bridging the gap between machine learning and materials science, you will enable the design of sustainable, high‑performance materials. This high‑ownership role involves shaping architectural foundations, from backend infrastructure toperformance visual interfaces.

What you will do:

• Lead the design and delivery of end‑to‑end features using Type Script, React, and Python‑based ML orchestration.
• Scale cloud infrastructure using AWS, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes to support complex machine learning workflows.

The ideal candidate:

• Has 5+ years of experience as a product‑focused engineer with strong fundamentals in API design and database modeling.
• Possesses a deep understanding of statically‑typed languages and experience deploying systems on modern cloud infrastructure.
• Demonstrates a STEM‑oriented mindset with a passion for solving complex, scientific problems through pragmatic engineering.
