Build the API powering the future of connectivity.
The Gigs Core API was built to make selling mobile connectivity as easy as accepting payments via Stripe. We've seen strong traction with our abstraction of the highly fragmented telecom space across providers and markets. In this role, you'll be responsible for deepening that abstraction and expanding the feature set—while maintaining the API’s simplicity, consistency, and usability. You’ll work closely with customers, our underlying network partners, and internal teams to develop functionality that empowers tech-enabled businesses to create innovative and disruptive connectivity experiences.
Success in this role requires experience designing, delivering, and evangelizing world-class APIs. While telecom expertise isn't needed, a background in a similarly complex industry is important.
What You Will Do- Define the behavior, constraints, and principles of the Gigs Core (Connectivity) API to solve customer and user needs
- Own the Core API product roadmap, balancing developer experience, business impact, and long‑term vision
- Create internal and external documentation and guides for seamless integration and ongoing support
- Increase operational efficiency and compliance for Gigs and our customers by adding self‑service, automation, and systems that detect and self‑heal problems
- At least 6 years of product management experience with a focus on complex APIs, platforms, or backend systems
- Obsession with intuitive API and end‑user experience design
- Track record of collaborating directly with customers, engineers, and cross‑functional stakeholders to drive business outcomes
- Background in operationally intensive industries (e.g. payments, marketplaces, or neobanks)
- Clear, concise communication—both written and verbal
- A hands‑on, owner mindset with the grit to ship and scale commercially successful products that developers love
- Previous exposure to telecommunications or related infrastructure.
- Experience building 0→1 products or working in fast‑growing scaleups.
- Familiarity with the latest AI trends and applications.
