What you will do:

  • Provide administrative support to the Referral desk within the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH).
  • Answer and manage a variety of enquiries, ensuring impeccable customer service and effective signposting.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective handling of safeguarding referrals.
  • Communicate complex safeguarding information to a broad range of professionals with clarity and sound rationale.
  • Ensure accurate recording of work undertaken and maintain excellent file management, both electronic and paper-based.
  • Liaise and collect relevant information to address requests from partner agencies.
  • Advise callers on available services and demonstrate an extensive knowledge of support resources.
  • Escalate issues immediately to the team manager when needed.
  • Adhere to council policies regarding equal opportunities, data protection, and health and safety.
