Children & Family Service – Hackney Council
About UsHackney Council’s Children and Family Service is committed to delivering high‑quality, child‑centred support that helps families thrive. Our Family Support Service provides both statutory and non‑statutory assessments and interventions to children and families of all ages across the borough.
Our teams are led by Consultant Social Workers and Team Managers who champion excellent practice and ensure the delivery of outcome‑focused support designed to help children remain safely within their families while engaging positively with their wider community.

You will draw on a range of methods including task‑centred work, behavioural strategies, observation, and systemic practice.
