Location: South East London

Eden Brown Synergy are currently recruiting for an experienced Social Worker to join Lewisham Council's Care Resources service in a Quality Assurance role.

Lewisham - QSW - Quality Assurance Social Worker (Placements & Care Resources) - £37.52 p/h Umb

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Undertake Quality Assurance reviews across residential, supported accommodation, fostering, kinship and Special Guardianship placements.

* Carry out planned and responsive visits across London, the South East and occasionally nationwide.

* Evaluate safeguarding practice, care environments and provider performance.

* Monitor compliance with statutory requirements, regulatory standards and internal policies.

* Produce clear, analytical reports with outcome-focused recommendations.

* Work with providers to implement improvement plans and conduct follow-up visits to ensure sustained progress.

* Provide professional challenge and support to placement, fostering and kinship services.

* Promote placement stability and ensure children's voices remain central to practice.

Working Pattern:

* Significant travel required across South East London and the UK

* Non case-holding position

Pay Rate:

* £37.52 per hour Umbrella

Essential Requirements:

* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent

* Social Work England Registration

* Significant experience within CLA services

* Strong Quality Assurance and safeguarding experience

* Background within fostering, kinship, SGO, residential or placement services

* Strong analytical and report writing skills
