Work Location: Various Libraries across Camden
Hours per week: 18 hours
Contract type: 3 x Permanent

The roleAs a Community Library Officer, you will support the day-to-day running of a local library, ensuring a high-quality, inclusive service for all users. You will help deliver community activities and events, support customers to access books, digital resources and technology, and work with partners to reduce digital exclusion. You’ll also carry out core library duties such as enquiries, stock management, cash handling and opening and closing the building.

You’ll enjoy working with people from all backgrounds and have strong customer service and communication skills. You’ll be organised, flexible and comfortable using digital technology, with an understanding of the important role libraries play in local communities.
