Position: Settled Homes Team Manager (TA Reduction)
Location: Greater London

Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Settled Homes Team Manager (TA Reduction) for a Local Authority Client in East London.

In this role, you will lead the Settled Homes Team to deliver tailored, high-quality housing solutions, prevent homelessness, and ensure residents transition successfully from temporary to settled accommodation.

Duties:

Lead and manage the Settled Homes Team, driving performance and staff development.
Match residents to suitable properties and facilitate moves from temporary to settled homes.
Prevent homelessness through negotiation with excluders and proactive support.
Ensure compliance with housing legislation, safeguarding, and accurate record-keeping.

Qualifications and

Experience:

The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:

Proven management experience in housing, homelessness, or temporary accommodation services.
Strong leadership, team development, and performance management skills.
In-depth knowledge of Housing Act 1996 (Part VII) and Homelessness (Suitability of Accommodation) Orders.
Experience working with vulnerable individuals and building effective partnerships with stakeholders.

What's on offer:

Salary: £300 per day

* may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience
* Contract type: 3-6 months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week
