Undertake Core Assessments
, pre-birth assessments
, and risk assessments to ensure children’s safety and wellbeing.

Carry out Section 47 Child Protection investigations and prepare high-quality statements and reports for court.

Complete Section 7 and Section 37 reports
, represent the local authority in court, and give evidence when required.

Conduct home visits to monitor situations, safeguard children, and ensure accurate and up-to-date case recording.

Convene and chair core group meetings
, working closely with multi-agency partners.

Undertake joint investigations and interviews with the police
, and initiate and oversee care proceedings.

Develop, implement, and review Care Plans
, supervise contact, and write detailed case conference reports
.

Attend strategy meetings, case conferences
, and complete Child in Need plans where required.
