Qualified Social Worker - Children With Disabilities Team

We are looking to recruit a Qualified Social Worker in the Children with Disabilities Team within Hackney. The successful candidate will be working in a well-structured, organised team who are growing their social worker staffing levels.

• Ability to complete Child and Family Assessments under the Children Act 1989
• Experience undertaking Children in Need (CIN) assessments and planning
• Knowledge of Child Protection enquiries and Section 47 investigations
• Experience completing Education, Health and Care (EHC) needs assessments and contributing to EHCPs
• Ability to assess eligibility and needs for Short Breaks services
• Experience supporting transition assessments from children's to adult services
• Understanding of safeguarding children procedures and risk assessment
• Competence in multi-agency assessments with health, education, and other partners
• Clear, accurate case recording and assessment write-ups

• Social Work England registration
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Social Work qualified (MA/BSc/DipSW/CQSW/MSc/BA)
