Progression Coach

Progression Coach – Temporary (3–4 months)

Islington 37.5 hours per week | 💷 £15.88 per hour (incl. holiday pay)

We are currently recruiting for a Progression Coach to support young people aged 18-24 who have slept rough or are at risk of rough sleeping. The service provides accommodation and tailored support to help clients move into longer‑term housing
.

You will manage a caseload of up to 8 clients
, delivering keywork sessions, support plans, risk and needs assessments, and working closely with partner agencies. The role includes housing management duties, safeguarding responsibilities, and supporting clients into education, training, employment, or volunteering.

Shifts: Monday‑Friday covering early (8 am‑4 pm), mid (11 am‑7 pm) and late (2.15 pm‑10.15 pm).

• Experience working with young people and supporting those affected by homelessness
• Experience holding a caseload and completing support plans and assessments
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and ability to manage challenging situations
• Good IT, literacy and numeracy skills
