HIU Engineer - SCS

Sureserve Compliance South, part of the Sureserve Group, delivers heating services within the social housing sector across London & the Southeast. We support our clients across domestic gas, commercial gas, renewables, and electrical services. Hours:

45 hour 8‑6 Monday to Friday + call out (Max 1 in
4).
Pay:
Salary starting from £35‑45k DOE + Call out and overtime = OTE £60k.

• HIU commissioning, servicing and repair and fault finding.
• Communicating professionally and courteously with clients and delivering a first in class service.
• Generating accurate and timely site reports within our PDA system.
• Participating in manufacturer and in‑house training to achieve the industry recognised qualifications required to carry out the role to the highest standards.
• Adhering to Health and Safety regulations and working safely at all times. The role may include some working away from home for short periods.

• A friendly and professional attitude, building strong relationships with clients and their tenants, ensuring all works meet the required standards.
• Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
• NVQ L2 Plumbing & Heating.
• NVQ L3 Plumbing & Heating (desired).
• Previous plumbing and/or heating experience.
• Knowledge of heat networks and previous experience of HIU commissioning, servicing, repair and fault finding would be desirable.
• A technical aptitude, with an interest in low carbon technologies.
• Excellent customer service skills (essential).
• Time management and prioritisation skills (essential).
• Excellent communication and team working skills.
