We're looking for an experienced Mobile HGV Technician with strong knowledge of municipal vehicles to join our client's team. This is a hands‑on role where you'll be responsible for keeping refuse trucks, sweepers, and other municipal vehicles in safe, road‑worthy condition.

• Carrying out inspections, servicing, MOT prep and repairs on municipal vehicles.
• Diagnosing and fixing electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ensuring vehicles are compliant with all safety and legal standards.
• Completing accurate paperwork and using fleet systems to log work.
• Supporting with pre‑delivery inspections of new fleet vehicles.

• At least 5 years' experience working on HGVs / municipal vehicles.
• Solid knowledge of electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• A full HGV Category C licence (Class
  2).
• Strong organisation skills and the ability to work on your own initiative.
• Previous experience supervising or leading people would be an advantage.
