Position: Carpentry Working Foreman
Location: Greater London

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Carpentry Working Foreman to deliver high-end luxury residential projects across London. This is a hands-on role suited to a highly skilled carpenter who is confident leading from the front while maintaining exceptional quality standards expected on prime and super-prime residential schemes. You will play a key role in managing site operations, coordinating trades, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work hands-on as a lead carpenter on site, delivering high-quality first and second fix carpentry.
  • Oversee day-to-day site activities and coordinate labour and subcontractors.
  • Report directly to the Project Manager, providing progress updates and programme feedback.
  • Ensure works are delivered in line with drawings, specifications, and programme.
  • Maintain exceptional quality control standards across all carpentry and associated packages.
  • Manage materials, site logistics, and deliveries efficiently.
  • Enforce health & safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised site.
  • Supervise and mentor carpenters and apprentices where required.
  • Attend site meetings and contribute to planning and sequencing discussions.
  • Assist with problem-solving and technical detailing on bespoke elements.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Working Foreman or Senior Carpenter within luxury residential projects in London.
  • Strong hands‑on carpentry background (first and second fix essential).
  • Experience running projects or packages while reporting into a Project Manager.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and detailed joinery specifications.
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills.
  • High attention to detail with a passion for delivering premium finishes.
  • SMSTS or SSSTS preferred.
  • CSCS card (Blue or Gold minimum).
