Electrical Response Technician (Lighting & Fault Finding)

£17.50 per hour PAYE (paid monthly) + overtime/OOH premiums

Location: London (West & South) — field-based patch

On-call: 1 in 8–9 weeks |
Travel: Door-to-door paid

Are you an experienced Electrician looking for stable, well‑paid work with real variety? Want to move away from purely domestic jobs and work on commercial and retail properties instead?

We’re recruiting on behalf of a highly respected building and mechanical services business with 60+ years’ track record across the South East. Due to continued growth, they’re expanding and hiring electricians into a compliance‑led response team.

You’ll be working across commercial/retail sites (leisure and hospitality environments), primarily focused on:

• Lighting circuits, fault finding, and safe, compliant repairs
• Basic emergency lighting checks and straightforward remedials
• Evidence‑led job close‑out (notes/photos/test sheets) and a first‑time‑fix culture
• Work is planned as close to home as possible. Where travel is required,
  you’re paid door‑to‑door

• Plenty of overtime available
• On‑call rota 1 in every 8–9 weeks
• PPE provided
• Multimeter provided (or use your own)

• Customer‑facing experience and professional site manner
• 18th Edition
• 2391 Testing & Inspection
• ECS Gold Card (preferred, not essential)
• Full UK driving licence (max 6 points)
